The Cooking School of Gangivecchio is run by two award-winning cookbook authors. Giovanna Tornabene and her mother Wanda are two-time James Beard Award winners for "Best Italian Cookbook."
Together, they oversee the cooking school and related excursions and choose all wine pairings for guests.

Cooking classes are typically scheduled to begin at 11:00 and last about two hours. Students prepare lunch and dine in the abbey restaurant immediately following their lesson. The class and lunch cost 50 Euro/person with wine and coffee or tea included.
We also offer cooking holiday itineraries ranging from one to five days and will customize a program for groups of eight or more.
An itinerary could include excursions to nearby markets and towns and guided tours of Gangivecchio's gardens, olive groves, orchards and Roman and Greek archeological sites.
