Welcome to Gangivecchio

**Students of the Gangivecchio Cooking School dine in the private home of Giovanna Tornabene following their class.**

The Cooking School of Gangivecchio is run by Giovanna Tornabene, an award-winning cookbook author.  Giovanna--with her mother Wanda--twice won the James Beard Award for "Best Italian Cookbook." 

Giovanna leads the cooking school and related excursions and chooses all wine pairings for guests.

Cooking classes are typically scheduled to begin at 11:00 and last about two hours. Students prepare lunch and dine in Giovanna's private home  following their lesson.  The cost for the class and lunch is 50 Euro/person with wine and coffee or tea included.

We also offer cooking holiday itineraries ranging from one to five days and will customize a program for groups of eight or more.

An itinerary could include excursions to nearby markets and towns and guided tours of Gangivecchio's gardens, olive groves, orchards and Roman and Greek archeological sites.
