The blessing of true friends . . .
Gangivecchio has welcomed many visitors through its stone archway, and some have become the dearest of friends. It is with these friendships in mind that we introduce Friends of Gangivecchio. Gangivecchio is in the process of applying for designation as a 501 (c) (3) in the US and registering its sister organization in Italy. So many friends have offered help and guidance along the way and Friends of Gangivecchio will finally offer them a way to protect and promote this magical place in a very meaningful way.

It would be impossible to mention and thank all of our dear friends here. We do wish to acknowledge and thank the following people for their help and contributions of photography, content, and design work on this website: Elizabeth Davison, Janis Donnaud, Peter Gethers, Matt and Stacey Jacobs, Florence Lentz, Nancy Lutz, Dr. Charlie and Shirley Sacamano and Glenn Storey.
A return to the grape--with our glasses half full:
One of the most dynamic projects to be undertaken by the Friends of Gangivecchio is the revitalization of the 600-year viticulture tradition at the estate.
Gangivecchio was a center of wine production from the fourteenth century on. The soil, slope and climate are ideal for growing native and imported varietals, alike. Because of the cost of production, combined with scarce labor and a poor harvest, Gangivecchio produced its last vintage in 1974.
The scope of the proposed project is great, and we will look to our friends for support and guidance. If you would like to know more about the viticulture revitalization effort or wish to offer your help with the project, please contact us at email@example.com
